Memorial Day, which is dedicated to members of our club who have passed away but still remembered and this year is dedicated to the memory of Pete Gatfield, was held on Monday 4th May and 48 people, in 16 teams, played in a triples competition, with each team playing 3 games during the day, ending with tea and cakes before the presentation of medals and the Ken Gibbs Memorial Trophy to the winners.

The day began at 10am and finished at 4pm and the weather, which started dull, ended very warm. Everyone enjoyed the day,

Congratulations to the winners who were Pauline Coates, Brian Page and Greg Harmer and the runners up were Jo Sanders, Brian Sanders and Chris Gibbs.

A big thank you to everyone who helped to make the day a success, with Chris Gibbs providing the lovely cakes and Alison Ray preparing them, along with making teas and coffees
